Announcing 9er Baseball 2010 Summer Camps

 For over 19 years, 9er Baseball Summer Camps have provided young baseball players the opportunity to learn and improve their baseball skills in a safe and enthusiastic atmosphere, while enjoying the summer months. The two-week programs are designed to improve baseball skills and then to apply those skills in a baseball game situation.

Each day, players begin the morning with a warm up, followed by base running and throwing/catching. The players are then divided into groups to perform station work. At each station, players learn general baseball and/or specific position skills. To reinforce the specific skill work, players then come together for a learning game. The learning games incorporate a particular skill into a fast-paced challenge. Station skills and learning games change daily.

All players get a half-hour lunch period and MUST bring their own lunch. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

Each afternoon, players are divided into teams to play a regular baseball game. Specific game rules allow players to pitch, yet keep the pace of play moving.

Requirements: Each player must bring a baseball glove, bats are optional. Players may wear cleats or sneakers.
